Stopped here on our Hana road trip, and it was delicious! I got the coconut shrimp, and my husband got the fish & chips. Both were excellent.

The fish and chips comes with dill tartar and a tiny cup of slaw. Everything was excellent. Fresh local fish (Ono was fish of the day) perfectly breaded and fried. The fries were also well fried and good quality. Service sucks, but I get it, the locals hate tourists, especially in Hana. There are picnic tables to sit on right next to the road.

Really good fish meals. Definitely worth stopping by if you can make it before they close. Just make sure you don't order to similar meals like we did when we ordered the seared fish and the mixed plate.

On our way to the Haleakala National Park we stopped by to have lunch, we find this food truck and we try the shrimp tacos (so good) and chicken katsu plus a side of veggie lumpia. I would definitely go back again!

Nice place for lunch along the road to Hana. The service was quick and the food was great! My picky eater had the chicken sandwich with no bun. They were kind enough to offer us two patties since he just wanted the chicken and he ate both! It was really good white meat chicken breast with a crunchy fried coating. Fries also delicious. Everything was reasonably priced. Parking lot, outdoor picnic table seating. Plenty locals getting food. But no bathrooms on site- we drove down to the nearby baseball field with public restrooms.
